NLP/Hypnotherapy

As Albert Einstein once said

“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough”… so here goes!

Hypnotherapy and NLP are both fantastic ways to help people make safe, effective and fast changes in their life.

So how does hypnotherapy work?

It’s very simple we are dealing with the subconscious mind bypassing the critical faculty of your conscious mind. The Subconscious mind does not know the difference between right and wrong, good or bad. If it did the world would be a very perfect place – unfortunately, it is not.

The mind

A beautiful servant

A dangerous master

When are you ready to change?

Once you have realised your ‘current state’ and your ‘desired state’ generally with the guidance of a practitioner who understands whether hypnotherapy is the correct tool to use. You can find a good hypnotherapist to help you connect to the subconscious mind, the powerhouse to your reality and decision-making processes.

When we deal with the subconscious mind it also references your consciousness to see if you are happy to make changes.

When would hypnotherapy not be applicable?

There needs to be 100% agreement between the conscious and subconscious mind to make fast effective changes and this is where the secret lies. If there is any hesitation on the conscious level the subconscious will just shut down, close shop and no changes will take place.

This, to some people would look as if it was unsuccessful but in reality it’s down to the client and whether they’re ready to make the changes they desire. Is this! “no change” failure? NO, you cannot fail at life! it’s a process not a test. When hypnotherapy does not work this is a clear indication that the client is either not ready, does not trust the process or does not trust the practitioner that is facilitating the change.

If this is the case the subconscious mind will not be interested in anything the NLP practitioner or hypnotherapist has got to say. It’s that simple!

Why should you find a well trained hypnotherapist?

This is where taking the time to find a well trained, passionate hypnotherapist will be beneficial. They will understand if you are ready to use this powerful tool and if not you can be coached to a point of understanding and then use hypnosis successfully.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of hypnotherapists that got their ‘qualifications’ on a weekend course or over the Internet and have no practical experience with clients.

Over the last 8 years since I qualified as a hypnotherapist I’ve gone on to study three other different types of hypnosis from Standard Suggestion Hypnosis to Creative Hypnotherapy, Interactive Hypnotherapy and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. Milton Erickson being the grandfather of hypnosis

Unfortunately, I can only offer hypnotherapy one-to-one, which ensures that I am able to offer the very best service to my clients.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)
